Committee Board Members

It is important to us that our project is shaped by people who care about what we do, the wider boating community and the planet. Our current Comittee Board Members meet with the Directors every 6 weeks to make big and small decision according to ‘Sociocratic’ principles to ensure we are keeping in-line with our mission and values.

Gaetano Giunta – I.T., Website and Software

Gaetano is our Tech Manager as well as our Board Member for I.T., Website and Software. He has been a key player offering a wealth of skills and a lot of time to develop our multi-programme scheduling software- which is a real feat of innovation given that boats, and their caddies, are moving all the time!

Howie Stone- Treasurer

Commercial Finance Director, delivering financial transparency and operational excellence within small businesses for over a decade.

Lived aboard for 9 years in & around London, and love CR’s concept and ambition.

Laerke Fjordg – Community & Inclusion

When I moved onto my boat a few years back, poo management was not the first thing that came to my mind about boat living. Then like many others, at some point I realised my compost toilet was full, and I thought, crap 😉 What do I do now? Then….a most wonderful thing happened. I chanced upon a poster advertising Circular Revolution- a compost poo collecting service on bikes. Two great things…poo and bikes:) This was the start of me signing up to an amazing group of people working mad hard to deal with the poo situation in an environmentally conscience and community based way.

Louis Rutherford- Fundraising & Partnerships

Louis has been a boater for almost 15 years and supported the founding of Circular Revolution with his Gaia Boat architecture workshop space. He’s cofounder of the River Roding Trust and passionate about solving big issues through the boating community.

Sunniva Taylor – Governance & Policy

I’m Sunniva, and I am excited to join the board of Circular Revolution. I live on a boat with my family, and we are big proponents of our compost toilet, and loved joining Circular Revolution after years of pretty unsatisfactory attempts to deal with our poo ourselves!

I have worked for a coop for the last decade, and hope to bring knowledge gained there to the board, as well as experience with fundraising.
