The CR Community
As a Co-Operative Community Interest (CIC) Company, Circular Revolution is working toward being organised as a fully mutual co-operative where members become stakeholders and have an equal voice. We believe that this is the best way to achieve a self-sustaining operational model which is responsive to our community’s needs and resilient to the challenges the organisation may face. It is very important to us that the Circular Revolution service is shaped by those who use it and care about it.

Community Meetings
Come and get involved with the running of Circular Revolution by coming to our Community Meetings. We hold these meetings quarterly-ish and are open to anyone and everyone. At these meetings we review progress, listen to feedback, discuss and share ideas for the direction of the organisation.
Workshops
We periodically arrange educational workshops for the wider boating community and our membership. We recently had the wonderful Compost Mentis come to talk to us about the composting process. Keep an eye on our social media or our calender for more info
Membership
Whilst membership is voluntary, we would of course love all our customers to become members of Circular Revolution. Not only does this benefit us as an organisation, through have the support and engagement with our customer base, but there are also some great benefits to you as well!
Our Annual General Meetings are only open to members. As a member, you will have the right to vote at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on decisions which are important to the running of the organisation, such as operational roles.

You will receive semi-regular ‘members updates’ via email which will summarise the more behind the scenes workings of Circular Revolution. This will allow you to keep up to date and be informed should you want to join us at our Annual General Meeting.
If you choose to become a member, we will ask you to fill out a membership form with your contact details which we will store securely.
Our Membership is free for employees and volunteers or £20 a year for everyone else. Membership can be ‘purchased’ in the products page here.
Volunteer
It is super important to us that the Circular Revolution service is as accessible as possible. We operate according to a part grant funded business model, and the price-point of our service is kept as low as possible. We do recognise however, that the cost of the service isn’t feasible for everybody. We therefore offer a volunteer scheme in which we ask for 2-4 hours of your time every 2 months in exchange for a monthly subscription.
